With over five years of experience as a Biomedical Scientist at Universidad de Murcia, I conduct cutting-edge research on the neurobiology of physical activity and the regulation of adipose tissue by exercise. I hold a PhD in Biomedicine and a Master's degree in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health.

I have developed a wide range of skills and knowledge in various fields, such as neuroanatomy, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, RNA handling and sequencing, DREADDs, electrophysiology, energy metabolism and rodent behavior (behavior, feeding, activity, sleep and temperature regulation). I have collaborated with renowned researchers from Spain, Poland, and the USA, and contributed to several publications and presentations. My goal is to explore the mechanisms and implications of brain and metabolism interactions, and how they can affect health and disease. I enjoy working in a team or independently, and I am always eager to learn new techniques and overcome challenges. I am passionate about classical music, reading, data analysis, and the creative process of research. I am currently looking for postdoctoral opportunities that will allow me to continue advancing in this field.
